This happens to be a lifesaver dish whenever I don’t have much incentive to stay long in the kitchen. The weather has been unbearable, hot and dry, not much of a pull it has on me to keep me cooking in there. This is the only time of the year, the swimming pool seems more inviting then my beloved kitchen. Hmm, the splashing sound of water, lapping up and down the sides of the pool, the refreshing coolness left on the skin as water evaporates, a tall glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice in hand waiting to be sipped and birds chirping happily about minding their own business. Needless to say, why we are having a ‘one plate’ pasta today.

Pasta sauces is fun to create and develop. There are so many sauce base and ingredients one can use. It’s never boring. No matter how bad a cook you think you are, a pasta sauce will make you believe you are a chef. How is that for a beginner? care to try?
