Dwarf Papayas

Today’s highlight is, some dwarf papayas brought all the way back from Seremban, grown in my sister’s parents-in-law’s home. Small but sweet, the smallest shown in the above photo is only 3 inches long. I personally don’t really fancy papayas but have a pretty unusual way to eat them. I like it drizzled with some kikkoman sauce before scooping the flesh out with a spoon. Dare you to try it this way … pretty tasty actually.

The Power of Lime

What I would like to highlight here is not how widely it is used but its value as a preventive alternative for the common cold or influenza. This little citrus has high doses of vitamin C which helps strengthens our immunity system to enable us to fight off the common cold before it is full blown.
Scrumptious Pearl Corns

Ever got addicted to corns? I just did. Saw these little delectable babies in a grocery store last week and thought I give them a try since they look so beautiful with their plum kernels of white and yellow bursting out at me. Even their silky threads were almost silver in color and glowing in the light.
